1) Description of Sweepstakes: River City Entertainment (the Sponsor) is offering the Win a Deluxe VIP Trip to Hollywood Sweepstakes (the Sweepstakes) and will award one (1) Grand Prize based on a random selection of all eligible entries in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes begins 12:01 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on August 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on December 31, 2008, (Sweepstakes Period).
2) Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to individuals 18 years of age or older who are registered members of the River City Entertainment Fan Club. Registration is FREE and available at http://www.rivercityent.com/FanClub.aspx. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. If you reside in a country or jurisdiction which prohibits promotional games of chance or sweepstakes you should not enter this Sweepstakes. Employees, officers and/or representatives (as well as members of their immediate families and those living in the same household of each) of River City Entertainment or Beholder Productions, their parent or affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies or any company involved in the design, execution or production of the Sweepstakes (collectively Promotion Affiliates) are not eligible. Please Note: Metacafe is not affiliated with River City Entertainment, Beholder Productions, or the movie HEART of the BEHOLDER.
3) How to Enter: Eligible entrants will automatically receive one (1) entry when they register to become a member of the River City Entertainment Fan Club. They can receive additional entries by performing the following actions. One (1) entry can be received for becoming a SUBSCRIBER to the HEART of the BEHOLDER Web Theater at www.metacafe.com/channels/DarleneLieblich. (If you are not already a Metacafe member you will be prompted to create a FREE Metacafe account in the process of subscribing to the HEART of the BEHOLDER Web Theater.) One (1) entry will be received for leaving one (1) HEART of the BEHOLDER Web Theater Channel comment. One (1) entry will be received for leaving one (1) comment on any of the one hundred and sixty-six (166) HEART of the BEHOLDER Web Theater videos. (If an entrant watches all one hundred and sixty-six (166) HEART of the BEHOLDER Web Theater videos and leaves one (1) comment after each video, he/she will receive one hundred and sixty-six (166) entries.) One (1) entry will be received for selecting a video from the HEART of the BEHOLDER Web Theater as a FAVORITE. (If an entrant watches all one hundred and sixty-six (166) HEART of the BEHOLDER Web Theater videos and marks each one as a FAVORITE, then he/she would earn one hundred and sixty-six (166) entries.)
4) Semi-Finalist and Grand Prize Winner Selection: A total of twenty-five (25) Semi-Finalists will be randomly selected during the Sweepstakes Period and according to the following schedule.
Five (5) Semi-Finalists will be randomly selected for all eligible entries received as of 11:59 PM US Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) August 31, 2008
Five (5) Semi-Finalists will be randomly selected for all eligible entries received as of 11:59 PM US Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) September 30, 2008.
Five (5) Semi-Finalists will be randomly selected for all eligible entries received as of 11:59 PM US Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) October 31, 2008.
Five (5) Semi-Finalists will be randomly selected for all eligible entries received as of 11:59 PM US Pacific Standard Time (PST) November 30, 2008.
Five (5) Semi-Finalists will be randomly selected for all eligible entries received as of 11:59 PM US Pacific Standard Time (PST) December 31, 2008.
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from the twenty-five (25) Semi-Finalists on or about January 9, 2009. The Grand Prize winner will be contacted approximately three (3) business days following the final drawing. The Grand Prize winner may bring one guest who is at least 18 years old.
5) Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize which consists of a four (4) night trip for two (2) people to Hollywood, CA (Hollywood Trip Prize). The Hollywood Trip Prize includes the following:
1. Round-trip coach airfare for two (2) people from the major U.S. metropolitan or international airport nearest the winnerís residence to Los Angeles, CA, (LAX).
2. Round-trip transportation for two (2) people to and from LAX airport and the hotel in a stretch limousine.
3. Four (4) nights upscale hotel accommodation based on double occupancy at the hotel of Sponsorís choice.
4. A professionally conducted VIP tour of Hollywood and a VIP tour of a Universal Studios.
5. Lunch in the Executive Dining room of a major Hollywood motion picture and television studio with the Producers of HEART of the BEHOLDER.
6. One (1) traveling allowance of USD $500.
The approximate retail value of the Hollywood Trip Prize is USD $4,700. The trip must be taken on the schedule identified by the Sponsor at the time of prize award. No alterations or variations are available to the itinerary. The Hollywood Trip Prize does not include ground transportation to/from the residence of the winner to airport of departure/return, meals (other than those specified), snacks, beverages, gratuities, passport or visa fees, accident, baggage and trip cancellation insurance, and personal expenses such as laundry and phone calls. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received in the Sweepstakes.
General: Potential Hollywood Trip Prize winner and their guest will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability/Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law). The Affidavit and Liability/Publicity Release must be returned within ten (10) days of Sponsorís provision of these documents. Potential Hollywood Trip Prize winner and their guest will also be required to send a copy of his/her passport, driverís license, birth certificate or other appropriate documentation (acceptable to Sponsor) as proof of age and residency. Non-compliance with any of these requirements will result in disqualification, in which case an alternate winner will be chosen. Return of prize notification and/or the Affidavit/Release as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. If the potential Hollywood Trip Prize winner cannot take the prize on the itinerary indicated, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. The Hollywood Trip Prize winner and their guest are responsible for securing passports and any documentation needed as applicable for international travel. In the event of unavailability of any prize or prize component, Sponsor has the right to provide a prize or prize component of equal or greater value. However, Sponsor has no obligation for replacement, re-scheduling or alternate compensation of any kind in the event any or all of the cast members of the award-winning animated show are not available for the table reading portion of the Hollywood Trip Prize, or if access to any venue is unavailable during the Hollywood Trip Prize. Sponsor has no obligation for compensation or reimbursement of any kind if a Hollywood Trip Prize winner has accepted the prize and cannot take or complete the trip prize for any reason. The Hollywood Trip Prize cannot be transferred, or substituted, and there are no cash options available. The guest of the Grand Prize winner cannot be a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence and must complete and return a Liability/Publicity Release and proof of age document prior to travel. WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OF A PRIZE.
If, for reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor (including, but not limited to, tampering or computer virus infection), the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, the Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes, without liability and to the extent feasible, will award prizes among entries received prior to cancellation or modification. Sponsor will not be responsible for Internet, computer hardware and software, phone, and other technical errors, malfunctions, and delays. Entries are void if they contain typographical or other errors. Entries which are incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, or irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, are also void.
All entrants agree to comply fully with each provision in these Official Rules. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes and/or any person who does not comply with these Official Rules, will be ineligible for any prize(s) and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
By entering, you grant to River City Entertainment the right, except where prohibited by law, to use your name, likeness, picture, address (city and state), e-mail address, voice, biographical information, and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes in promoting or publicizing its products or services, without compensation. You shall have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) arising out of any use, blurring, alteration, or use in composite form of your name, picture, likeness, address (city and state), e mail address, biographical information, or entry.
7) Release of Liability and Issues of Law: By participating in this Sweepstakes, all entrants release River City Entertainment and the Promotion Affiliates from any and all liability with respect to and in any way arising from participating in this Sweepstakes, acceptance or use of prizes. Entrants also agree that River City Entertainment and the Promotion Affiliates are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to the computer of an entrant or a third person related to or resulting from the Sweepstakes, the Entries and/or its prizes. The Sponsor is not liable for damage to any computer system of any user (including, without limitation, any server failure or lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction) due, either directly or indirectly, to the participation of an entrant in the Sweepstakes or downloading of information in connection with the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Sweepstakes in the event that any portion of any website used to administer any aspect of the Sweepstakes becomes technically corrupted.
All Federal, state and local laws and regulations are applicable. THE CALIFORNIA COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA SHALL GOVERN THE SWEEPSTAKES. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS. The Sweepstakes is void where restricted or prohibited by law.
8) Winners List: The name of the Grand Prize winner will be posted on or about January 09, 2009 on the HEART of the BEHOLDER Web Theater located at: http://www.metacafe.com/channels/DarleneLieblich/
